Mega service mela was organised on 17th january 2010 at Shree Bhumu Sporting ground, Lake town.Goods worth Rs 4 Lacs were distributed among the needy people.

Lion Gopal agarwal PDG was the chief Co ordinator.Lion Damodar Saraf D.C. Service mela and his better half left no stone unturned to make this event a grand success.

OUR DISTRICT HAS RECEIVED NEW YEAR GINGKO AWARDFOR NET GREWTH IN MEMBERSHIP DURING DECEMBER 2009. CONGRATULATIONS AND THANKS TO ALL MEMBERS WHO HAS SUPPORTED THE DISTRICT  IN THIS PROJECT.

 ALL CLUB PRESIDENTS/ SECRETARIES ARE REQUESTED TO PLEASE FINALISE THE DATE OF OFFICIAL VISIT OF DISTRICT GOVERNOR AND TEAM.

 ANNUAL DISTRICT CONFERENCE ON 6TH & 7TH MARCH 2010 AT SURESH NEOTIA MEMORIALHALL, BESIDES CITY CENTER SALT LAKE HOSTED BY LIONS CLUB OF CALCUTTA  MEGA CITY.

17 diabities Detection Camps were organised on 17th January at 6.30 AM to 8..30AM at 17 places in Kolkata & Howrah to Launch the LIONS IN SIGHT programme in LIONS DISTRICT 322B2.Lion MAnoj Gupta, D.C Diabeties Awareness was the chairman. Lion Dilip Arora, Lion Inder Sethia & Lion Vijay Mehra co ordinated the event successfully. 

FEBRUARY month is being marked as Care for physically handicapped people by LIONS DISTRICT 322B2 every year.

This year also, this programmed will be launched 0n 31st January 2010 at Lions Childrens Park, Deshpriya Park at 10.30 AM where Sri Vineet Goel, JOINT C P  will inaugerate the camp. 

These camps are beint organised in association with Mahaveer Seva Sadan .other camps are scheduled for 7th, 14th & 21st February respectively.
